In their most original function, Persian carpets should accompany nomads through the most adverse conditions at every turn for generations. However, no real carpet can achieve its breathtaking lifespan if it is not elegantly touched up every 20 years on average.
Because even a carpet has its weak points: The exposed fringes and side links, the carpet edges are the problematic places.
The real problem begins when these are completely worn out and the nodes further inside begin to dissolve. To avoid this, the weak points are corrected with materials that are true to the original.
Our repair service treats your carpet like all real carpets have been treated for hundreds of years. It is crucial to restore the carpet – if possible so that you do not notice it.
Our repair offer

- Dissolve the edge of the carpet until the shortest existing fringe is 2 cm long
- Then manually pulling in a locking knot made of highly compressed cotton
The Fringes be strictly after restored using the traditional method. The carpet is loosened until the shortest existing fringe is approx. 2 cm long and can be grasped with the fingers. A locking loop made of high-density cotton is worked in along the entire length of these worked-out fringes.

When the edges are repaired, also known as interlocking, the existing, damaged yarn is removed. Then, with the help of a wool thread of the same color and material, high density is linked into the carpet. This traditional method is much more durable than sewing on prefabricated edges.

For example, in the case of holes, only the edges can be fixed and the hole can also be underlaid with single-colored filler material (fabric laid four times in the desired color). This is the procedure used to restore antique carpets in museums.

All you need to do is roll up your carpet, wrap it with a plastic film and secure it with commercially available adhesive tape. If necessary, we will be happy to send you sufficient packaging material free of charge.

You can choose any working day for collection – our insured DPD collection service will pick up the carpet right at your doorstep. You don’t even need to address the parcel – this is done by DPD directly on site. You will receive a receipt that the carpet has been picked up. You can use the number provided to view the shipment history.
Wir begutachten Ihren Teppich!
Every carpet we receive is subjected to an intensive control before work. Any abnormalities and the current market value will be sent to you together with the confirmation of acceptance. If we notice a need for cleaning / repairs, you will receive a binding cost estimate for us. Of course, we will not carry out any further work without your express consent.

After 2 weeks at the latest, the work is completed and the carpet is ready for dispatch again. Then it will be sent back by insured DPD shipping. At the same time you will receive a shipping confirmation that your carpet is on the way. You can use the number provided to view the shipment history.

If you are completely satisfied, we ask you to pay the invoice amount within 2 weeks of receiving the carpet.

Every incoming carpet is photographed and examined before the service is performed, and any abnormalities are reported to the customer.
Insured cleaning work
If damage should occur in the course of the repair or cleaning, the photo documentation enables problem-free damage assessment, which is covered up to € 30,000.

The working day from Mon – Fri can be freely selected for DPD collection. The pick-up time can only be specified additionally (eg until 12 o’clock); Unfortunately, we cannot promise whether this can always be kept.
If the collection cannot be carried out for any reason, repeated collection attempts will be made on the two following working days. If there is no collection, you will not be charged for the unsuccessful attempts.

All work is carried out at our company headquarters in Austria. This may seem cumbersome at first, but it is important to us that we maintain our high standards and that all work steps are subject to our direct in-house control. We are sometimes asked whether the path the carpets take is not too far, but in fact the greatest CO is produced 2 -Emissions for every shipment in the pick-up and delivery to the customer. As soon as the parcel reaches the nearest DPD distribution warehouse, it becomes extremely CO 2 – Carefully transported with many other packages. From an environmental point of view, collection by a shipping company is much more ecological than if a carpet were brought individually to a service center.
